HIGH CORROSION RESISTANCE RETRACTABLE INJECTION QUILLS
The HC series retractable quill builds off the proven of the design of our Heavy Service 250psi retractable quills by featuring expanded materials options for the main connection assembly (valve and compression gland).
The solution tube of a retractable quill, being the chemically wetted part of the quill, needs to be selected with chemically resistant materials such as Hastelloy C276, Alloy 20, or titanium. The main connection valves are not chemically wetted by the feed and can generally remain brass or stainless steel. However, in applications where the process fluid being treated is highly corrosive (brackish water, sea water, chemical processes, etc.) the valve needs to be of materials similar to the solution tube.
